Which of these Job Classes do you like the most, or prefer using in the game Final Fantasy Tactics?
Squire: Basic unit. Capable of wielding daggers, one handed swords, and axes. Versatile unit, but with only basic offensive and defensive abilities, it has limited use.
Chemist: The Chemist job is the starting class for all magic type jobs. Chemists are able to throw potions to party members in range, healing or curing status ailments. These are great support units, especially when guns become available later in the game. They have low defense, so keep them behind your heavy hitters. An invaluable unit to have.
Knight: Powerful offensive unit capable of breaking enemies equipment. Wears heavy armor, as well as carrying both one-handed swords and larger, more powerful Knight Swords while also wielding a shield for extra defense. A walking tank, but slower than many other classes and has difficulty moving over rough terrain.
Archer: The archer is the most basic long range class in the game. They use bows and crossbows and can charge their attacks to do more damage. They are most useful when placed on a high altitude to maximize their attack range.
Monk: The job that practices martial arts, while also using spiritual energy (chakra) to deliver bone-crushing blows as well as being able to clear the status ailment of a nearby ally. Using only their own fists, and wearing nothing but light armor at the most, the Monk is an extremely powerful offensive unit when used properly.
Thief: Not the job for upstanding moral citizens, that's for sure. The thief steals not only money, not only the clothes and equipment right off the enemies' backs, but is also capable of stealing the heart of an enemy of the opposite sex; turning a potentially deadly adversary into a valuable ally. Using daggers to fight, and wearing light armor at the most, the thief is also capable of extreme dexterity; moving across the battlefield with ease, and dodging enemy attacks with incredible reflexes. Your worst enemy, or best friend in combat.
Depending on how this poll goes, I may or may not make subsequent polls of more jobs.
