It can also depend alot on the subject of a topic that is revived. If its something of little relevance or 'old news' etc, you can understand why some people would get a little titchy.

Well you guys are half there, but it looks like you're having trouble finishing the whole thing. The point of this topic wasn't to flame newbies making repeated polls, nor was it to try and get admin to ban newer users from making them. I pulled a sneaky trick
The point of this poll was to see if you guys would jump on the band waggon and say "yeah those damned newbies are annoying"
While I'm happy that most of you realized that would be an incredibly idiotic move, you didn't get to the base reason of Why.
I said it myself, and most of you agreed - Most users come, stay a while, then leave.
This means that when a poll/topic is repeated, there will always be new information and opinions added. Even if some of us have seen the same topic and poll a hundred thousand times, even our opinions and thoughts will have changed. I'm sure you'll have all remembered Visi's "First Post" thread he made a while ago, how much we've changed in just that short amount of time.
As SB said at the beginning of the thread, limiting new comers would be a very bad thing, and would probably eventually lead to the death of CC.

A cookie made out of blood. Blood, and love. And maybe sprinkles too.
